If you have since always wanted guest bloggers in your blog and you have enabled the free registration you have most likely ended up having a huge amount of spam registered users in your wordpress blog which makes everything more difficult to identify the spam registered users from the real users that have registered to publish a guest post in your blog.

I had this same problem here at SEO Optimization but now all that hassle seems to be over after I found this great plugin. With this lovely plugin called SABRE - Simple Anti Spam Registration Engine the spam bots have hard time to pass the several tests and get registered and I keep my database clean.
