AdSense Allowed Sites

Google search engine, Make Money Online | September 9th, 2007 | 3 Comments

If before you were threatened or afraid that someone could steal your AdSense PUB id and use it an inappropriate or malicious site just to harm you or get your AdSense account banned than there is no need to worry any longer.

The Google AdSense team has worked in regard of this question and has created the AdSense Allowed Sites. With the AdSense allowed sites feature we can now state on which sites we want and allow our AdSense publisher ID to be displayed, while if anyone else steals your published ID and uses it on another site to click bomb you or simply to break Google AdSense TOS than we are safe.

To list the allowed sites where you want your AdSense publisher ID to be displayed click on AdSense Setup than in the end of the sub menu you will notice the Allowed Sites button. Chose the radio option Only allow certain sites to show ads for my account, in the textarea write down the sites on which you allow AdSense to be published and click on save…and stay safe.

Enjoy and continue to make money online 😉

I think I’m going to go though all of my sites running adsense and implement this, I just hope I don’t miss any out and then lose out on some income!

  2. Hello Adam,
Yeah this can be tricky especially if you own more sites (but heck, those are your sites how could of you forget about them? :P).

In any case I am actually wondering if this AdSense’s new feature is to help publishers or it is just a feature to collect data for them.
