Selling WordPress Theme

Hello folks. At first I would like to apologize for bashing about this, but has to be done it has to be done 😉

Why I am writing this article is indeed to promote a product I have recently released for sale at xhtml coding, rather than a product it is a premium wordpress theme design for sale. So far I have been releasing free wordpress themes (or rather, used to release) for peoples use. But after awhile i just stopped doing that, today I am coming up with this new theme and rather than releasing it for free download and lurking for sponsors I decided it would be smart to place it for sale.

The Blue Glory theme is on sale on 10 copies with leased license for $65 per copy (this means, you and another 9 bloggers will have the same blog design) or as unique (owned license) for $550 USD (discounted for $100 USD).

Rather than commenting about the look of the design (which I would rather hear your opinion) I would like to mention some of the functions the theme has, such as

  • Widget ready (drag and drop) sidebar
  • Custom homepage coding to call latest posts of your favorite category
  • Tagging included by default as they come with WordPress 2.3.*
  • Highlighted important features, such as RSS subscription, latest posts and tags

The Blue Glory theme (heck of a name eh?:P) will work on WordPress 2.3.* version (unless you disable the tagging option, in that case it will work on any WP version).

I would also like to announce that I have also activated the affiliate program over at xhtmlcoding.com and the affiliate pays a nice 20% of every sale generated through the affiliate URL.

You better subscribe via email, I might be giving one theme copy to a contest winner in the near feature on a contest which could turn out useful.

Hi Astrit – it looks great. Well done.

Is it possible to change the colour of the theme quite easily and add a header etc?

  2. Hi Catherine,
Unfortunately changing the color of the theme is not that quiet easy, but you just gave me an idea to maybe create a version with different color 😉
