Have you been blogged?
Open topic | April 6th, 2008 | 3 CommentsLater tonight after watching a movie with my GF i decided to check the email address for dnseo.net, and aside the spam registered members on this blog I had a new interesting email from blogged.com. Since I have never registered at blogged.com I was not even aware that people had voted me and gave me a score 9.0 out of 10 maximum, Amy Liu of the Editorial Department of blogged.com had most likely notice that I was not aware of this and was kind enough to drop me an email which flattered to me a bit.
From the email that Amy Liu sent to me I learned that the evaluation for the score I received was based on the next criteria: Frequency of Updates, Relevance of Content, Site Design, and Writing Style. These evaluation criteria might not mean much to many, but you should realize that these criteria are the same one you are looking at every single blog before you decide to subscribe at or come back again and see whats new to read.
What blogged.com actually is?
If you go at about blogged webpage you will learn that
Blogged.com is all about blog discovery. It’s a place for readers to discover interesting blogs and for authors to discover who their readers are. Blogged goes beyond being a traditional blog directory. We focus on providing tools for bloggers and readers alike. Through our database of over 200,000 blogs, readers can discover and explore new blogs. Through our user community, blog authors and their readers can communicate and interact directly with each other.
In other words (at least to me it appears as) blogged.com is a mixture of bloggers social networking and bloggers directory where each blog gets reviewed, rated and the database of blogged.com is free of spammy blogs and full of quality ones.
Aside that you can find lots of other interesting blogs to read from blogged.com it is also a great social networking site for bloggers. You can add friends, communicate with other bloggers, leave comments and make new fellow bloggers (feel free to add me as friend if you have a blogged.com account, invite me with webmaster at dnseo.net).
Hope to find some of your folks at blogged.com if you are using it, if you don’t then you should get one or subscribe to my RSS feed or have the posts delivered via email in your inbox.
Thank you for this. I just signed up 🙂
Just not that, they also provide a great ranking widget for your blogs. Try them out. 🙂
